FMS757 Pumpkin Spice Season

Happy Monday to everyone!  I bought the More Than Autumn bundle last year before it retired and I think I've only used it once! And since it's that time of the year, I needed to get it inky:

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches:

along with some pretty fall prints and gingham (although it's hard to see).  And here's the inside:

I do like pumpkin spice things, as long as they're not TOO sweet--usually pumpkin spice coffee is too cloying for me.  I would eat the whipped cream and cinnamon off the top though--for sure!

All the images are from More Than Autumn; the cup was watercolored with Soft Sea Foam on Basic White cardstock; the printed paper is from Craft Consortium's Little Fawn & Friends, and I don't have a label for the gingham.  The "cinnamon" is from Itty Bitty Backgrounds and everything was mounted on a layer embossed with Honey Bee's Burlap embossing folder.  This will make a fun card in which to enclose a coffee gift card!!

We went to a local nursing home last week to visit a church friend and we came upon these little guys who were visiting the staff and residents:

They were quite comfy in their little pounches! I can't remember how old the larger one was, but the wee one was six months old! SO soft and adorable.  Dana actually had these folks visit at her nursing home a couple of years ago and she wanted to bring one home!  I am sure Eden (and Wayne) would have put the nix on that!

Thanks for visiting today!  Enjoy it and be blessed!

  1. Oh, I see that little gingham cup! I am not a pumpkin spiced coffee drinker but wouldn't mind eating a slice of pie to-go like this! ha! Darling little dsp and wonderful take on our sketch, LeAnne!

  2. Fabulous card, LeAnne! I have to say, though, that here in New Zealand, pumpkin is a vegetable - period! The though of it as a drink - no thank you :) Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.

  3. Oh my, what a great Fall card!!! I made so many cards with this set last year that I sent out this year using the Pumpkin Spice theme! I love my Pumpkin Spice coffee as long as it's sweet and not too much spice added to it! LOL Love your paper and the embossed panel! This card is right up my alley! LOL TFS
