PP752 Happy Autumn

Happy Sunday, peeps!  Jaydee is our Paper Players hostess this week with a wonderful sketch, I just love it:

I turned the sketch on its side, because I wanted to highlight one of the lovely little scenes on the new papers from the upcoing Holiday catalog; it's called Autumn Toile:

I paired it up with a Pecan Pie scalloped border and some Timeless Plaid papers.  In addition, I brought back an old favorite cardstock color--remember Mellow Moss?! It seemed to match those leaves perfectly, so you can see a wee bit of it behind the plaid layer!  I also used a new sentiment bundle called Words for the Season:

I stamped the "happy" on another scrap of Timeless Plaid, and the "Autumn" is cut from Cajun Craze.  Here's the sentiment I chose for the inside:

I am thrilled with this sketch using these pretty fall papers, and I hope you'll play along with us at the Players as well!  Fall is probably my favorite season, so you'll be seeing more of these papers in the future!   Thanks for visiting today!  Enjoy your day and be blessed! And this week, I'll be spending some time with the family so I'll be taking a wee bit of a blog vacation!

  2. LeAnne, there is definitely an Autumn snap in the air here - only 67 degrees this morning! Your darling grouping of fall-ish things on this dsp is so lovely! LOve the plaid and that moss cardstock - they should bring that one back!

  3. I love your card! I love how you've made the beautiful DSP the focal point. Such pretty paper! I love your layout, too!! I'm thinking about buying the Words for the Season dies...nice words & font.
You got me on the Mellow Moss cardstock...I guess it was before I started using SU, prior to 2011??

  6. I like that way you've rotated the sketch - and you're right about it being a gret one. The warm rustic feel of the checks, the rich colours and the scalloped edging add up to a super card. :-)
