Hello Autumn

Happy Thursday, peeps! Wow, this week is zipping right by!  The FMS sketch this week is quite intriguing, and I really liked the colors at Hand Stamped Sentiments as well!:

I had an idea, which totally morphed into something else!  Anyway, here we go:

I started with a Crumb Cake panel that I stamped repeatedly in Pecan Pie ink with an autumn word stamp.  On top of the that, I added some swirly leaves in Pumpkin Pie and Peach Pie inks.  I added some diecut leaves in the three challenge colors; the Peach Pie was a little light, so I sponged some ink on it as well.  Then I sponged the whole panel to give it some depth.  I added a sentiment from Choose Happy on the new Peaceful Season dies (love them!), and a Pumpkin Pie scalloped border:

I stamped some swirly leaves on the bottom as well and added a little pumpkin and finally, some sequins.  The pumpkin and leaves are from the retired Seasonal Swirls dies.

The whole shebang was mounted on a Pecan Pie card base that was embossed with the Stitched Greenery die.  This wasn't quite what I had planned but in the end, I like it!  Thanks so much for visiting today!

Here's a quick little video to give you a giggle:

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

  1. LeAnne, this is so pretty!! Love the Stitched Greenery Die as it looks amazing on your cardbase! Your pumpkin & leaves steal the show! Great job on the challenge! Awww, I love chippy's (chipmunks) as we call them around here. We have a resident one on the backporch that teases Miss Bailee all the time. LOL Those things are so fast!

  5. Great card, LeAnne! Very creative! Lots of interesting items to look at & I love that you cut off the top of the die frame. Being that I'm OCD, this is not something I would have done but I love it! Thanks for sharing. Have a lovely day. Huggs from toasty Florida.

  6. Cute chipmunk video, too! Did he get any corn? You should cut it off the cob for him, don't you think? ha!
