Happy Sunday, peeps! Joanne is our Paper Players hostess this week and she has a very interesting sketch for us! I really had fun playing with it too! Check it out:
When we were at Cape May, I saw a cute little wooden pumpkin in a gift shop and it was decorated in orange buffalo check:
I thought it would be fun to try to recreate it, although SU's retired Buffalo Check would have been a bit too large for this card, so I searched the internet and found some orange gingham and went to work:
My pumpkin is a diecut from Papertrey; I cut out all the panels and sponged the edges with some Peach Pie ink to give them a bit of contrast and cut the leaf and tendrils from Old Olive. I continued the plaid theme with my vertical panel and chose the unusual color of Pool Party for my base, which I embossed with a Darice embossing folder.
I used a CTMH sentiment and I stamped and punched some leaves from the retired Beautiful Autumn bundle:
I stamped a sentiment from Beautiful Autumn on the inside as well!
Friday night we went to the Solanco (Southern Lancaster County) Fair....it was the most crowded I have ever seen it! The weather was mild and the people were MANY! I took a video of one of the events---I am not even sure exactly what they call it, but you'll see in the video:
So much fun to watch! Thanks for visiting today! Enjoy it and be blessed!
