I know Claire loves bright, bold colors and images, so I had her in mind when I made my summery card today! I used those little watermelons as my inspiration, and pulled out an old Unity stamp; here we go:
I used a piece of Flirty Flamingo DSP as my mat, and stamped three watermelons in black ink, then watercolored them with Flirty Flamingo, Mambo Melon and Garden Green inks, then fussy cut them out. I stamped some of the words from the set, "carefree" and "summer", then added "birthday wishes from the retired Endless Birthday Wishes:
I also embossed the polka dot paper with the Stitched with Whimsy die for fun! And on the inside, a sentiment from Happiest Day:
I have a lot of birthdays coming up, so this will go in my stash! Now, how about you? How will you interpret our Paper Players theme board this week? Gather up your summery stamps and get to work! Can't wait to see what you create! Thanks for visiting today! Enjoy it and be blessed!
