GDP439 Ice Cream Birthday

Happy (rainy) Monday, peeps, happy April! Hope you had a nice weekend! I spent some time with family, John stayed home with a bad cold!  Anyway, since I already had all these fun papers on my desk from my card for yesterday, I decided to make another card for our pastor's daughter, whose birthday is also coming up soon!  So here we go:

I used the same papers, but chose the retired Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and matching builder punch to build a fun sweet treat for her card, and it is on a wobbler mechanism, so when she gets her card, the ice cream will wobble!

Just stamped a simple sentiment from the same set on the inside:

I am entering this at the Global Design Project challenge this week, as they are looking for sweet treats!

And we had a chance to see this little sweet treat Coby yesterday too!

Cassidy sprained her ankle on Friday so she was on crutches, but it didn't stop her from cuddling her little cousin, even if he did look a wee bit grumpy!  Thanks for visiting today--enjoy it and be blessed!

  2. What's not to love about ice-cream with a little sparkle tossed in! This is cute, LeAnne. Sorry about Cassidy's ankle. Maybe that's why little Mr. Coby was grumpy!

  3. A wobbling ice cream cone can sometimes be a recipe for disaster - but not yours, LeAnne! She can wobble but she won't fall down! So cute card, and girls.

  4. The colorful images in those papers are just yummy and so delightful! What a perfect birthday card for sweetness. Speaking of sweetness, Coby is beautiful (and so is Cassidy too of course). Healing wishes for both Cassidy and John for better days ahead.

  5. I just love this sparkly paper full of sweet treats! The combination of that and the wobbler ice cream element make this a very special birthday card! Coby is looking very serious but what a cutie he is, and a lovely photo of Cassidy too :) Vicky x
