AHSC569 Christmas Ornament

Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you had a good weekend!  It's time for a new Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge, and as usual, it's a fun one:

This sketch reminded me of the floating element card, where you adhere strips of cardstock or paper to an acetate sheet, diecut it into a shape, then pop it up with dimensionals so that it looks like it is "floating" on top of your card! It's easy but very impressive!  So here's my floating ornament:

I used the colors of Soft Sky, Pool Party and Coastal Cabana for my strips, along with some matching glimmer paper for the bow and ornament topper.  Some Coastal Cabana polka-dotted DSP went on the base along with a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp:

These colors match the colors for Inspired By this week, too:

And I am also entering it over at the Krafty Chicks, where they're looking for Christmas!

I hope you'll have fun with our sketch this week!  It certainly doesn't have to have a floating element, or even a heart...use your imagination!  We can't wait to see what you create!  Share it with us at Atlantic Hearts!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!
