Happy Sunday, folks! I am the hostess at the Paper Players this week and I have a sketch for us all! Here ya go:
I had a hard time deciding on just which new goodies to play with, but since I already had Timeless Arrangements still on my craft desk, I decided to pair it with some Countryside Inn DSP:
I stamped and diecut some of the floral elements and placed them on some diecut Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy circles, then added the sentiment in Boho Blue along with some Boho Blue ribbon. The vertical panel was matted with a scalloped piece of Basic White; it wasn't quite long enough so I diecut two pieces and put them together; the seam is hidden by the ribbon! I did color in the flowers a wee bit with a blend. These papers are so pretty!
I sure hope you'll play along with my sketch this week. Check out what everyone did over at the Paper Players blog and share yours too!
Yesterday was our little town's Memorial Day parade, and John always participates! This year, even Dana, Cassidy and Wayne came to watch! We all gather at our friends' house and sit on their yard as the parade goes right past their house. You can see Cassidy wasn't real thrilled but when the guys in the fire trucks started throwing candy, she got excited, LOL!
Hopefully I can share a video of part of the ceremony they have after the parade! Thanks for popping in today, enjoy it and be blessed!
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 1 John 3:16
