Happy Friday, peeps! Once again, I am guest designing for those lovely gals over at As You See It! They have a recipe for us this week and once I saw BLUE, I was hooked! Check it out:
I pulled out my Dainty Designs bundle again, inked it up with some blue hues and went to work:
My frame and flowers are both Boho Blue; I did watercolor the flowers a wee bit with some Misty Moonlight, and gave them a Night of Navy seam binding bow:
I also stamped some of the other flowers on the Basic White card and added a vellum panel so soften it a bit. The sentiment from Charming Sentiments was diecut with the Radiating Stitches die, and I added a Boho Blue ribbon and some subtle sequins for extra pizzazz:
Blue is my favorite color, so this was a winner of a recipe for me! I hope you'll find it a fun recipe too--be sure to come over to the As You See It blog, check out the lovely samples the DT created, and share yours with us too! Thanks for popping in today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

Beautiful card, LeAnne! You nailed it with the blues and of course, that gorgeous stamp set! The vellum softens the back panel nicely and those dies just make it all pop! Love, love, love! Happy Friday!!
ReplyDeleteBlue suites you, LeAnne! Even I love this Boho blue and it's gorgeous for stamping these delicate flowers! That frosty window of vellum suites your design, too!

So many wonderful layers, especially the vellum! This is lovely, LeAnne!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, LeAnne - I can't wait til these frames come back in - I wasn't fast enough! This whole design is just stunning, and love that big bow!
ReplyDeleteLeAnne, this is just stunning! That frame really defines the piece, but love the flowers behind the vellum and dainty florals!
ReplyDeleteI am loving these sweet flowers, LeAnne! Love the soft look of the vellum with the stronger color of the watercolored die cut flowers! Congratulations on your Guest Design post.
ReplyDeleteThis is a stunning card. I love that blue and the vellum overlay is genius. Adding it to my favorites right now!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. Love all the different elements on your card with those dainty flowers and pretty frame. Congrats on being a guest designer.
ReplyDeleteI love blue too and Boho Blue is a definite new favourite of mine. This card is just lovely LeAnne - I have total frame envy and love the way the vellum softens the flowers behind and adds interest to the layering of the images. So glad you could guest with us again this week!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, LeAnne. I like your vellum window and then the way you've put a beautifully coloured spray on this side of the window too. The dark blue bow lets the lighter blues shine. Thanks for guesting with us for a while - it's always a pleasure to have you with us. :-)
