PP608 Seashell Wreath

Happy Sunday, everyone!  Joanne is our Paper Players hostess this week and since it IS still technically summer, I used the colors from her color challenge to create a seashell wreath!  First, let's see the colors she chose:

I had the Cottage Wreaths bundle on my desk since I had been playing with it and making samples for my upcoming club, so I thought it would be fun to use some of the pastel colors to create a wreath....so here we go:

I stamped the leafy wreath in Mint Macaron and beachy-themed elements in Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and Petal Pink, diecutting the wreath and fussy-cutting the elements.  I added a Linen Thread bow too:

It all went on a Basic White card base on which I stamped a (very old) cheesecloth image in Sahara Sand, then added the sentiment in Crumb Cake:

My final addition was a scattering of Mint Macaron pearls and a few little speckles of "sand"!  A nice finish to the summer season, right?  I hope you'll find some inspiration from Joanne's colors...she has some Regals in there as well, so no need to focus only on the Subtles!  Can't wait to see what you create...share it with us at the Paper Players blog!  Thanks for popping in!

A last little glimpse of hubby's favorite summer beach pasttime:

Unfortunately, this storm front was making itself known and the fishing had to be cut short!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!
