Hello, peeps! Happy Sunday and time for a new Paper Players challenge! Anne Marie has a fun color challenge for us all:
Sadly, I needed a sympathy card for a sweet friend from church who just lost her second daughter in the last three years. The black and white prints from the retired True Love DSP was perfect for a simple (that's my key word lately) sympathy card:
I used a Daffodil Delight marker to color in just three of the flowers for Anne Marie's "pop" of color, then added a diecut banner with a sentiment from Color & Contour, and another wee little Daffodil Delight banner to tuck underneath. I added a yellow rhinestone for a pop of bling!
And I added the second portion of the sentiment, along with another sweet sentiment from Eden's Garden, on the inside:
My heart breaks for her and I hope this brings her comfort!
Now, I hope you'll play along with us too...black, white and a pop of any color! Check out what the DT did over at the Paper Players blog and get some inspiration!
So here are the three amigos (John's nephew Phil, John, and John's brother-in-law Charlie) on their fishing trip on the Chesapeake yesterday....Wayne took the photo! What a gorgeous day to be on the water!
And this is what's left of the striper....leftovers for tonight! It was delicious!
Thanks for visiting today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

ReplyDeleteLeAnne, my heart aches for your friend. A parent should never lose a child, never mind 2 in 3 years. That's just so tough. I love the pop of yellow on just the little cluster of daisies. I am sure she will really appreciate receiving this
