Happy 2022, everyone! We're back at the Paper Players with some new challenges and new guest designers! Ann is our first hostess of the year and she's asking us to use some sparkle:
I got some new ornament dies right before Christmas so I thought using them with some glimmer paper would be a perfect way to highlight them:
A photo just doesn't catch the sparkliness of the card!! Anyway, I diecut three ornaments from gold, silver and white glimmer paper, then added bows of Merry Merlow, mounting them on a star-embossed panel and a Merry Merlot card base:
I stamped a sentiment from Itty Bitty Christmas and diecut it out to pop on top. There is a new die in the upcoming spring catalog called Sports Event, and it has a die that is a cluster of little stars....what a great die to have! I used a scrap of Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper to cut some out and sprinkle on two of the ornaments, then added some on the inside as well to accompany my sentiment from Sparkle of the Season:
And I am squeaking in the sketch from FMS:
as well as the new Jingle Belles challenge, which is to use something new that Santa brought us!
I hope you'll play along with us at the Players this week...it's a great way to get that stamping mojo back and get back into a creative groove! Check out what the DT made as well as our new Guest Designers; you can see everyone at the Paper Players blog!
Thanks for popping in today! Happy New Year, here's to a healthy one for all!
My favorite photo of Christmas:
Enjoy your day and be blessed!
