IC106 Peaceful Deer

Happy Monday, peeps!  No more DT obligations for the rest of the year, so I'll just be making cards for fun! This one is for the Inspire Create challenge, which is to use some neutral hues:

These colors reminded me that I hadn't used this Unity stamp for a while; I stamped him in Early Espresso ink on a plaid Crumb Cake DSP, then colored him with a Blender Pen and some Cinnamon Cider ink:

I added a couple of sprig stamps and the word "peace" from a CTMH set, then stamped some pine cones and greenery from another CTMH set along the edge of a Cinnamon Cider panel.  I finished it off with a piece of Early Espresso faux suede ribbon:

A few more CTMH stamps on the inside finished it off!  I love making Christmas cards!  Thanks for popping in today!

Our covenant children presented a short Nativity program yesterday at church; we haven't done something like that for a while and it was really precious and just what I needed to get into the Advent spirit.  I'll just share a few pix today, then sprinkle the rest in during the week!  Cassidy took a little lamb (our pastor's youngest) for a bathroom break before she got her costume on:

In her Mary costume:

Lined up on the stage, waiting to begin:

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

  2. What a unique stamp. I really like it and the sweet stamps you used on the inside. There isn't anything much sweeter and puts a smile on your face than a children's Navtivity program!
