Happy Friday, peeps! Time for a new As You See It challenge, and it's "recipe" week! Here are your ingredients:
I confess that mixing neutrals is a bit of a challenge for me, but I went full force today; I've used Basic White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Kraft AND Sahara Sand on my Christmas card:
The Kraft snowflake is comprised of three layers; I made little cardstock spacers to fit between each one to pop it up a bit without having the white dimensionals show through! I adhered it to a Very Vanilla mat which was embossed with the Cable Knit embossing folder, then added a Basic White stitched mat to that! The sentiment is a partially-stamped one from Christmas to Remember, tied with some Linen Thread and embellished with a Gold Metallic Pearl:
I happened to have three strips of the Tidings of Christmas already cut, so they went on the Crumb Cake card to tie it all together! Again, my last year's favorite sentiment set was used for the inside: Wrapped in Christmas:
And since I've got brown, texture and ivory on my card, I'm going to pop it in over at Festive Friday!
I am pretty sure I got all my ingredients to whip up this fun holiday creation...now it's your turn to cook something up! Make sure you share it with us at As You See It! Thanks so much for visiting today!
Cassidy finally finished her London Lego kit that she got for her birthday!!
