Happy Friday, peeps! It's time for a new As You See It challenge, and this is a FUN one--literally and figuratively! And don't be like me and miss the SPEED stamping part of it! Ten minutes or less!!! Uh oh, I had to go back to square one! Here's our prompt:
I had just gotten the Impression Obsession cats...they were too cute to pass up and I thought I could use them for several cat-lovers I know! So our challenge was perfect to get them inky! Here we go:
I lined up all the kitties on my Stamparatus and inked them up with Memento Black ink...it took a few attempts to get them fully inked, but I managed to get pretty good images! I mounted my Basic White panel on a Granny Apple Green card to add some color, then stamped my sentiments and added a few sequins for fun:
And this fun sentiment went on the inside! Cute and easy! Took just a few seconds over 7 minutes, I did get interrupted by a phone call, so hopefully that was a close time! And since the Krafty Chicks are having their CAS week, I am going to submit it there as well!
Now, would you like to see my original card that took just a little bit longer to make:
I fussy cut my cats out after stamping them on white cardstock, then stamped the one of the left directly on to the patterned paper so I could get his whiskers in there! They were popped up with mini black dimensionals:
And here is the inside:
I hope you'll search your funny or whimsical stamps and come create something to tickle someone's funny bone! Just make sure you get it done within TEN minutes! Then come share it with us at As You See It! Thanks for visiting today!
I think my daughter sent me this photo TO BE FUNNY because she knows I can't stand eating anything blue!! Yuck! And just look at the expression on Cassidy's face! I can hear Dana saying "Let's send this picture to Grammy because we know she hates blue food!"
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

I think your cards are purrfect. That is the neatest stamping. Cotton candy...the reason I have so many fillings! Any color was fine with me. I'd probably gag on it now...lol. Have a blessed weekend.
ReplyDeletePURRRRRRRRRRRR-fect!!!! Oh LeAnne, these cats are just...well... the CAT's pajamas!!! Both cards are adorable, and your fussy cutting is unbelievably good!
ReplyDeleteOh Grammy! It doesn't TASTE blue!
=]
These kitties are such fun, LeAnne! I can't decide if I like them best on the green with all the white space or on the cheerful yellow!
ReplyDeleteLove both of these - those cats are so realistic! They make for a fun card for sure - I love the pop of colour against the black and white on both too (you should link up over at GDP this week!)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun cat images, I really like how you used them for such a unique CAS design. However, I would pass on the cotton candy too, no matter what color! Thanks for sharing with us at Krafty Chicks.
ReplyDeleteHow cute are these! I like the little one dangling it's paw over the edge! Yep, that's one ornery look Cassidy is giving you!
ReplyDeleteTotal cuteness here - from the cats to Cassidy!
