Happy Monday, peeps! Hope you had a good weekend! I have a sweet little birthday card today using a sentiment from the new Best Year set....it has lots of great sentiments! It also uses the sketch from TGIF Challenges, and the color palette from Less is More:
And here we go:
I first embossed the card base with the Stitched Greenery die, then diecut three panels with the Tasteful Labels dies. I hand-cut a mat from Soft Sky for each one so they would stand out a bit, then added an embossed sentiment and some Pierced Blooms die and bow:
The final embellishment was a little yellow rhinestone on the bow! Thanks for popping in today!
Last day of fifth grade! Time is flying by so quickly! Now a summer of trying to keep her busy and entertained, LOL!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

5th grade...how can that be???? Does she switch to another school yet? I love the colors and design of your card...so sweet!
ReplyDeleteThis is the sweetest card! That leafy background and that cute little bow, love it all! Oh my goodness, a 5th grade graduate!!?? Congrats Cassidy!!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with the leafy background LeAnne and that thin blue border really uses the pale blue as a great accent. This card is so delicate and pretty. The end of 5th grade - wowsa!
ReplyDeleteThis is as sweet as can be! Love the soft colors! And Miss C is growing so fast! Almost a 6th grader.....yeow!
ReplyDeleteI love your use of our colours. That embossed background is really pretty and the design is lovely. Thanks so much for playing along at Less is More xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous creation, I love all those die cuts in your focal area. Strictly speaking, our guidelines state 'lots of clean / open / non-patterned / non-textured space' so, even though I absolutely adore that gorgeous background pattern, we shouldn't really allow it following our challenge rules. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
