Hello peeps! We spent the last few days with family; John's stepdad's funeral was on Thursday; the service was at a small country church in the tiny crossroads town of Niantic, PA. The cemetery overlooks farm land and it was a beautiful day to honor him. But we're home now and back to semi-normal, just in time for a new Paper Players challenge with a sketch from the amazing Jaydee:
This is my FAVORITE sketch, but Jaydee turned it upside down, so it was even more fun! These fun leaves from the Pansy Petals DSP caught my eye, especially since the opposite side was GINGHAM!! I stamped a sentiment from Biggest Wish directly on the gingham in Evening Evergreen, then added a diecut scalloped rectangle and some matching leaves:
I love how well these leaves coordinate with the DSP! It all went on an Evening Evergreen card base and I added a white mat on the inside for correspondence! Easy and striking!
Like I said, this is my favorite sketch and you can use any number of sentiments, papers, images, you name it, to create an awesome card! Be sure to stop by the Paper Players blog to see what the other designers created with it....once you get some inspiration, share yours with us too! Can't wait to see what you create! Thanks for popping in today!
We have had some amazing weather here in SE PA, although I do think our gardens could use a bit of rain! Wayne and Cassidy did some after-dinner fishing at a local county park recently, while Dana took a nice long walk:

And fishing is always better when you actually catch one!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!
