Hi peeps! Happy Sunday! Did you remember to turn your clocks ahead? We turn ours ahead on Saturday afternoon so it's not quite such a shock on Sunday mornings, LOL! It's Paper Players time, and Joanne is our hostess today with a gorgeous color palette! Check it out:
I had an urge to do some watercoloring, so I pulled out Ornate Style, which hasn't seen ink for a long time! So here we go:
I didn't want to use black ink for the outline, so I used some Memento London Fog ink, which is a soft blue-gray, to stamp on some watercolor paper. I colored the floral image with an aquapainter and ink, and then fussy-cut it out:
I embossed a piece of Seaside Spray with an Altenew cover plate, adhered the image, then added some sequins and a bit of rose metallic thread. The sentiments, outside and ink, are from the retired Watercolor Wonder:
These colors are just beautiful together, and I am glad Joanne chose them! I used the CAS Colours & Sketches sketch for my layout:
I hope you'll check out what the design team did over at the Paper Players blog, and share your creation with us too! Thanks for popping in today!
