Hi stampers! Happy Sunday! It's time for a new Paper Players challenge; Claire is our hostess with this lovely theme challenge:
Oh my, so many choices! In the end I opted to use that little bunny in the corner as my inspiration! I pulled out one of my favorite old SU sets called Hello Spring! And here we go:
I had this piece of retired magnolia paper on my desk for another project and although Petal Pink is a hard color for me to work with, I thought it would make a nice spring card! I had an idea to make a wreath, but most of the wreath stamps I had were too "flimsy". Then I remembered a fall wreath stamp that I had from Fun Stampers Journey, so after adhering my DSP to my cardstock, I stamped it in Soft Suede, then embellished it with a few little springy flowers and twigs...and of course, a bunny:

The wreath stamp looks like it was die cut! Love it!! This is such a cute card and I still have some DSP left. Maybe I'll CASE your card for the challenge :-D Crocheting is so much fun...I hope she sticks with it.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a sweet Spring card, LeAnne! Love the twiggy wreath against the soft pink and the rabbit is adorable!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty in pink! I had a hard time seeing this was a stamped wreath, and not a die cut - it's wonderful, LeAnne!
ReplyDeleteCutest little bunny!

Pretty in pink, LeAnne! I also thought this was a die cut wreath at first glance. I love the little flowers and the cute bunny. A perfect spring card!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a sweet little wreath with that precious bunny. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love your card . Like the wreath and the bunny and flowers on it. Can you tell me if the wreath stamp is still available and where the bunny and flowers come from two and if it’s available. Thank you Norma Rennie
ReplyDeleteLOVE!!! That Easter bunny wreath is awesome!
ReplyDeleteLove the paper, the bunny, the wreath with all those pretty little flowers... love this card!!
ReplyDeleteThat bunny is beyond cute and I love the fresh, soft colour palette - perfect for spring!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cutie! He's made himself right at home among the flowers! Great papers too! The bunnies are roaming our yard lately giving our dog lots to think about lol! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteLeAnne, this is a beauty and a cutie! Love the wreath mixed with the Petal Pink. Your flower cluster is a perfect backdrop for that adorable bunny! Enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteLove your magnolia paper and that bunny nestled among those flowers and leaves! Such a darling card. Speaking of bunnies, not five minutes ago my hubby and I discovered a bunny nest in our back yard. We could even see the babies. They don't even have their eyes open yet. We have a wild bunny that we feed by hand for the past three years or so but this is the first time we have seen a nest. I hope they survive.
ReplyDeleteLove that wreath! Adorable card! I never had the patience to knit or crochet either and my mother always did!
ReplyDeleteLeAnne, I love this card! From the pretty DSP to that gorgeous floral wreath, your card shouts Spring. That little bunny is so cute, too! Your card will certainly bring a smile to someone! Thank you for rocking my challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteLeAnne, your adorable bunny frolicking among the flowers is everything! I love this paired with the DSP and the sentiment style is just perfect for the whimsical image. Fab layout, too!
