Happy Friday, peeps! Time for a new As You See It challenge...right on time for the Easter holiday! You might want to do a fun card or a religious one! I chose to do both!
My first one uses some current and retired products:
I used some Ornate Garden Specialty paper for my background, layering it on a Soft Seafoam card. The cross from Cross of Hope die was cut from some Gold Foil, as was the back layer of the Nesting Labels die. I heat-embossed a sentiment from the retired Easter Lamb set in gold embossing powder and diecut it with the banner die from the same die set:
"See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land." Song of Songs 2:11-12

ReplyDeleteLeAnne, what a sweet Easter card with that little lamb! I just love those pierced blooms die cuts and how you used the stitched ribbon background and circle to bring it all together! Thank you for sharing your creativity once again with us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday!!! -Donna
ReplyDeleteTwo great Easter cards, LeAnne! Love the cross and the beautiful framing! Nice background too! The sweet lamb looks like she's in a field of flowers. So sweet and festive and a perfect illustration for your scripture.
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful Easter cards LeAnne! The lamb is so sweet but I am particularly fond of the Easter cross - love the white and gold with the soft green. I made a few just like it this morning so a big thank you for the inspiration as always!
