Happy Tuesday, peeps! Since I used the Fusion Card Challenge photo prompt on Sunday's card, I thought I would make a card today using the sketch. This is one of the easiest sketches you'll ever find, and there are endless possibilities for it! I wanted to highlight my favorite pattern (well, I like ALL of them) from the Flower & Field DSP available during SAB, along with Handmade for You. So here's the sketch:
And here's my uber-easy card:
My card base is Granny Apple Green, with a layer of Balmy Blue, then the DSP. The banner is Crushed Curry DSP; the sentiment was stamped in Memento Black and diecut with the Stitched Shapes circle die:
Can't get much simpler than that....and what a fun little card it is! Thanks for visiting today!
AND.....the Valentine mailbox is complete! The handle and arrow were finally glued on and she took it school yesterday!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Love your card. That is my fave DSP from that package. Cassidy did a beautiful job with her mailbox...such fun. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteI had this very pattern in mind during our 'home-sewn' chat the other day, LeAnne!! It looks much more appropriate on your card - and totally adorable!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of adorable, Miss C. gets an A+++++ on her darling Valentine's mailbox! LOve the you've got mail action flag!

ReplyDeleteThis dsp is gorgeous and looks like hand-painted flowers! I really like that simple sketch too, but Cassidy's mailbox is wonderful! It even has a working flag!! How clever and unique!
ReplyDeleteI can't disagree with that sentiment or with this sketch! What a fun, happy card! Love that mailbox! Mine is way too boring!
ReplyDeleteYour card is perfectly delightful and Cassidy's mailbox should be in the Valentine box hall of fame! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love how you showcased this DSP! I am so going to case this to have a few extra cards on hand! And oh that mailbox turned out fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLove this card - can't go wrong with a simple sketch and some great DSP! Love Cassidy's finished mailbox too - she did a great job!
ReplyDeleteI think that lovely dsp deserves its place in the spotlight and I love that you used colours from it in your details. And yes, that sentiment!! Vicky x
ReplyDeleteOh, almost forgot to say - the mailbox is absolute perfection! Go Cassidy!
