Hi everyone! It's Sunday and Valentine's Day! Happy Valentine's to you! Jaydee is our Paper Players hostess today and she has a lovely color challenge for us all:
So pretty! The prompt feels heart-felt, but I went in another direction:
The Jingle Belles have a "text" challenge this week, so this paper in Poppy Parade and Blushing Bride came immediately to mind! My card is 6 1/4" x 3 3/4"; the base is Blushing Bride and I cut a panel of the print paper to fit. I stamped my Santa in Memento ink, paper piecing his face and hat, then adding a pompom of Silver glimmer paper. I also added some Zig Silver Painty pen to his beard, although it just looks gray here:
I used a few dies to create the sentiment, backing the "holiday" with some more Silver glimmer paper:
The "have a" is from one of SU's very first photopolymer sets, Endless Birthday Wishes! Everything was mounted on a Whisper White panel diecut with the Sweetly Stitched dies! I actually did another card with these colors but I FORGOT the black!!! So maybe I'll share that with you later! Meanwhile, stop over to the Paper Players blog to see what the other designers created with these colors! If they inspire you, share your creation with us as well! Can't wait to see it! Thanks for popping in today!
Wayne took Cassidy Valentine-card shopping! What a good step-dad!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Very cute...Christmas still happening...YAY! Just saw older post ...your Valentine..would not have noticed the background words were upside down if you had not pointed it out. such a great idea with the white wash. This plank eb folder is one of the hundreds that I don’t have...now with so many 3-D...it keeps going. That’s our craft.
ReplyDeleteHAPPY VALENTINES DAY
Your Christmas card is actually quite appropriate as I look out over the fresh 4 inches of snow!! Also very, very cute! LOve that DSP!
