Hey chicks! Happy Friday and time for another As You See It challenge....this week we have a color challenge:
Yikes! I will admit that this palette challenged me a bit! I really wanted to use the past SAB Hey Chick because SU has a matching birthday set in the Mini Catalog PLUS dies to go with both of them! I haven't gotten the dies, but that didn't stop me from using the set alone...I can still fussy-cut that chicken out! So here we go:
I used the FMS sketch to get me started:
I used a few retired products here; my friend had just given me this Chicken Wire background stamp, so I stamped it in Garden Green, then stamped, watercolored and fussy-cut the chicken. I added the little egg, also watercolored, and a few stitched flowers in the challenge colors:
The sentiment was stamped in Garden Green and diecut with the retired Bitty Banners die! It's a little busier than I normally make, but it was fun to add the layers!
Our design team has done an amazing job with these colors....how will you use them? I hope you'll challenge yourself to play along and share your creation with us at the As You See It blog! Thanks for popping in!
No chickens, but we did have some visitors to our patio during the snow earlier in the week! John usually puts out patio table away for the winter but didn't get around to it this year. It's become a popular place, especially when there are some ears of corn on it:
They look so beautiful against the white snow, don't they? Enjoy your day and be blessed!
"So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:21
