Happy Tuesday, peeps! I am still making Christmas cards! This one is for the staff at my bank; they are amazing! Another friend gave me a slew of stamp sets, since she is moving and downsizing, and I came across this pretty image from a set called Beautiful Season; I stamped it in Stazon ink and watercolored it, then added some Christmas papers and a pretty fussy-cut sentiment:
This little guy looks so festive perched among the holly and berries:
I added a little rhinestone to the "joy" for a wee bit of sparkle!
And since the Christmas Kickstart and Always Fun Challenges both are asking for Christmas cards, I am linking them up there!
And I promised some more cookie pictures from Cassidy:
I am impressed at how well she's doing with that cookie scoop! More on the finished product soon! Enjoy your day and be blessed!

This card is so pretty, LeAnne! I just love seeing cards made with older sets! I think I still have this set, too! Love your watercoloring and fancy cut sentiment! Miss Cassidy looks like she enjoys baking cookies....me, not so much!
ReplyDeleteI just baked cookies Sunday afternoon and surprisingly they turned out pretty stinkin perfect....for a change! LOL Have a wonderful day...the sun is shining and melting all that yukky snow!
This is such a pretty card...love the little bird. I am useless when it comes to a cookie scoop. Kudos to Cassidy!
ReplyDeleteOh I love that set, LeAnne! I have had it since new and usually use it for one or 2 Christmas cards each year. Its fun to use wood-mounted stamps, I think. I guess that shows my stamping "age"!! Have a blessed Christmas.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card with a favorite Chicka dee dee dee!!
ReplyDeleteMan I wish I could eat one of those right out of the oven!

This is one of my old favorite stamps, LeAnne. It's definitely a keeper! You've colored it beautifully and found the perfect paper and sentiment!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see this little fella in my backyard! Such a pretty card LeAnne. Looks like Cassidy is becoming quite the baker!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful bird image. If it is from SU! I certainly don't remember it. Beautiful watercoloring also! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLove your card, LeAnne, that little bird looks so sweet and the traditional colour combo is just perfect. BTW, those cookies are looking good so far... Thanks for playing at Christmas Kickstart, Jo x
