FMS466 Hay There

Happy Friday, peeps!  I have been neglecting making cards for occasions other than Christmas, so I took the opportunity to use the FMS sketch to make a get well card for a guy in our church.  Here's the sketch:

I love that big open panel because I was able to use some fun papers from Echo Park as well as some farm images from Papertrey:

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the cow in Memento Black and the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler, then diecut them with a Tasteful Labels die.  I added another skinny layer of Basic Black behind it, cut with the same die, just to give it a little more dimension, and added some retired Candy Dots:

On the inside, a very simple sentiment from (I think) Scrapbook.com; it doesn't have a name on it though!

Of course, I am sure everyone is sharing snow pictures!  John was in his glory, as is the first time since buying his John Deere that he has been able to plow our driveway!

I was having more fun watching the birds....look at that little "angel wing" in the snow...it wasn't made by that white-throated sparrow though, it would have been a much larger bird!

I hope you're all safe and sound!  Thanks for popping in today..enjoy it and be blessed!

"Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels.  And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful."  2 Timothy 2:23-24

  2. When I have time, I'm going to go through all your past posts and see how many different stamps and DSP you have...lol! This is such cool paper and I do love cows. Glad John enjoyed the snow. It is very pretty as long as it's pure white! That's such a cute photo of the bird and mystery wing. Have a blessed day!

  6. How fun, he's going to love his card! We didn't get enough to shovel. I was thinking of you when I saw PA was in the path of the storm. Looks like you, John AND the birds made it through!
