Happy Wednesday peeps! I am in the full Thanksgiving mode so this post will be short and sweet! I have an uber-CAS card for a couple of challenges: the Rainbow Card challenge wants "sapphire"; Christmas Card Throwdown wants a Winter Wonderland; and Less Is More wants a one-layer festive! Not really sure how "festive" my card is, but it is one layer!
I have lots of wintery-themed stamps, and since I've been going through my older stamps, I found this one that I thought had a sweet vintage feel to it:
I got this image several years ago at a stamp show and I don't know the maker! I stamped it in Pacific Point, which is a color I rarely use, but I think it looks pretty with this silhouette. I created a mask with a square die and sponged the sky with Balmy Blue, then added some retired SU Ice Glitter for snow:
Both sentiments are from Cornish Heritage Farms; the outside one is from Vintage Christmas Expressions, the inside from Christmas Expressions; I just love them!
Thanks for popping in today--I hope you have a blessed day! I will have a post tomorrow....but mostly I'll be spending time giving thanks!

This card is precious LeAnne...Love the blue....good idea. A perfect card for all. Love the snow...
ReplyDeleteReally lovely, LeAnne! WAY prettier than the snow we had yesterday!
ReplyDeleteIf Lisa E. sees this, I'll bet she'll recognize the maker of that stamp - looks like a few she has in her arsenal of cuteness.
Happy Thanksgiving!

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet scene that brings back wonderful memories of sledding when I was a kid! Love the shades of blue and that snow is awesome! Happy Thanksgiving, my friend!
ReplyDeleteI don't recognize the stamp either LeAnne. Maybe Past Time Stamps, the used to be at stamp shows around here. Whoever made it, it's cute and I love the snow you added to it! Darling card. Happy Thanksgiving!
