IB132 Sweet Summer Birthday Wish

Hello peeps, happy Thursday!  It's time for a new Inspired By challenge...look how sweet this is:
And here is our optional sketch---you can use either, or, or both!

I admit that the "fruity" stamps in my large stash are slim to none....SU has a really cute set this year, I may have to remedy my dearth!  Anyway, I did remember that I had a watermelon stamp from an old Unity set, so I put it to work.  I did use the sketch this week, too:

I stamped the watermelon three times and colored each one with SU Blends in Pink Pirouette, Real Red, Highland Heather and Shaded Spruce, then fussy cut them out and mounted them on a piece of digital gingham I had already printed out, but never used!  I added a little Balmy Blue mat and some shiny sequiins:

There was a cute birthday sentiment in the set as well, so I stamped it at the bottom:

This will be going to a sweet young lady at our church!  How does this inspire your creativity?  We hope you'll be able to play along with us this week!  Share you creation at the Inspired By blog and check out what the DT created as well!

Thanks for popping in today!  No pictures....hopefully I can sneak some in today!  Enjoy your day and be blessed!
