Happy Thursday, peeps! Hope you are coping in these difficult days! It's time for another Inspired By challenge, this is a cute one, but it did give me pause! Here's the prompt, as well as the option sketch:
I knew exactly what stamp set I was going to use, but I really wanted to incorporate all those fun colors in there too! So here's my final product:
I stamped, colored and cut out the sneakers from Epic Celebration, but all my circle stamps were too large for the background I wanted to achieve. So I used a circle die and a sheet of acetate to create a stencil of sorts, then stamped my circle stamp directly over top of it, cleaning between each color. Surprisingly, it made these fuzzy edges, which were pretty cool, so I added some speckles to funk up the fuzzy:
I added a sentiment from Label Me Bold, a layer of Blueberry Bushel, layered that on a layer of Coastal Cabana that was stamped with the smudge stamp from Label Me Bold, and then on a Whisper White card base. Here's the inside....sentiment from the same Epic Celebration, but I stamped my circles full-size right on top!
And since The Spot has a masculine challenge this week, I am entering this there as well!
There are so many directions in which you could go for this fun challenge....can't wait to see what you create! Share it with us at Inspired By! Thanks for popping in, and enjoy your day!
