Happy Wednesday, everyone! It's time for another Card Concept Challenge! We have a bright, brilliant inspiration photo for you this week:
These bright florals would not be my normal "go-to" palette, but I admit that I really had fun creating my Clean and Layered card today! What do you think:
I stamped some Tim Holtz Flower Garden flowers in Stazon ink on Shimmery White cardstock and loosely colored them with Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral inks, then fussy-cut them out. My horizontal panel was a piece of retired Taken with Teal cardstock that was put through the Tin Tile embossing folder that had been inked on the inside front with White craft ink. I LOVE the effect that it created! I added an appropriate sentiment from Altenew's Label Love, and finished it off with some Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon and a few sequins from my stash!
I also used the Sketch Saturday sketch as my layout:
This will be going out in the mail soon to someone I miss! How about you? What will inspire you from this photo? We can't wait to see what you create! Don't forget to tell us what "style" your card is too....you can see all the styles listed on the Card Concept blog! While you're there, check out what the DT created as well! See you there! Enjoy your day and be blessed!
This is gorgeous, LeAnne! I love the EF you used. I don't think I've ever seen that one.

ReplyDeleteThese beautiful flowers remind me that I have not used this set anywhere near as much as I should! Love the inked dry embossing! Something else I need to use more!

ReplyDeleteGreat job LeAnne...lovely flowers....and love the while inked EB folder...do that often, but never have rushed white ink. Nice effect.
