Happy Wednesday, peeps! I have a simple Valentine's card for you today, and it uses the Global Design Project's colors:
I didn't purchase any of the Valentine-themed products from SU this year, so I am trying to use things that I have already in my current supplies to create my Valentines! The only retired item I used was the embossing folder! So here we go:
The Stitched Be Mine dies have a beautiful intricate heart die, so I used it in Real Red as my focal point. I diecut "love" three times from Flirty Flamingo cardstock using the Well Written dies, adhering them together to create a chipboard effect! I backed it with a piece of Sparkle glimmer paper for fun, then added some felt hearts from the Follow Your Art embellishment kit, although I think they are really Calypso Coral!! But they are a fun addition! I did add another little sparkly heart, too:
And on the inside, I used sentiments from A Wish for Everything:
This is such a great, versatile set, as are the Stitched Be Mine dies! Thanks for popping in today!
The kiddo got new glasses--she had not been wearing her other ones and she got a "tsk tsk" from the eye doctor...and a new prescription!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Love those sweet layered hearts Leanne, this is cute! Cassidy looks adorable in her new glasses. When my 5 year old great nephew got his first pair, my mom told him he looked handsome. He replied "Eh grammy, I might just throw these things in the trash." LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteThese layered hearts, splashed against the textured background, are just FABULOUS!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Valentine!
ReplyDeleteLovely, simple and sweet. Thanks for sharing with Global Design Project.
