Happy Friday, peeps! It's time for another As You See It challenge, and it's a pretty theme challenge with this photo prompt:
I have these pretty sunflower dies that I thought would look great as daisies, and I found some scrapbook paper that I am sure I have had for probably 15 years and never used, LOL! So here we go:
It's really a very simple card; I diecut the front panel, then diecut my flowers from Whisper White, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz. I embossed the centers with a polka dot embossing folder, and even added a wee little lady bug for fun:
I heat embossed a sentiment in white embossing powder on a scrap of Woodgrain paper and diecut it with the Be Mine heart die, then added a bow die:
I think this would make a great get-well or thinking of you card!!! Now, how will this photo challenge you? Share it with us at the AYSI blog--can't wait to see what you create! Be sure to check out what the design team made as well! And thanks for popping in today!
So on Wednesday night after dinner, Cassidy was telling us about a book she received at Christmas, full of weird and interesting facts. One of the stories was about coffee made from poop of certain animals; my brother clarified it a little bit, saying that it wasn't actually the poop that was used for the coffee, but coffee beans that had been eaten by the animals and then pooped out. STILL GROSS! The look on Cassidy's face dittoed my sentiment:
Then she said, "I am definitely not drinking that poopaccino!" We cracked up! That girl!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

This one is so very sweet, LeAnne! One can NEVER go wrong with sunflowers, or daisies - always fresh!
ReplyDeletePoopacino… that Cassidy - so clever!! Now, I'd really like to know who decided that picking the coffee beans from Monkey poo would be a good thing?? Betting it wasn't Martha Stewart!

Love your card, especially the lady bug. We've thought about buying some and letting them live in our screened cage where we have our plants and battle insects and diseases in this hot humid weather. Cassidy cracks me up! You have so much fun together as a family and I'm glad you share those times with your followers.
ReplyDeleteThe sunflowers look great on that scrapbook paper, so glad you used it! I really like the flower dies and tiny heart with the sentient too! I recognize the little bunny bow too *wink* I'm with Cassidy, I won't be drinking that either!! LOL
ReplyDeleteThe sunflowers /daisies are very cheerful! And once again, your paper stash has come to the fore. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis dose of sunshine is just what I need with our dipping temps! This is darling LeAnne. Poopaccino ~ HAHA, I'll stick with my water!!
ReplyDeleteThis card is like a real breath of spring LeAnne - those daisies are so fresh against that delicate patterned paper which is perfect for the job (and exactly why we should all hoard paper in my opinion!!) The teeny tiny ladybird is a cute addition too! As for Cassidy - whilst I love a good pieccof trivia, I think I’ll stick with tea too!
