Happy Sunday, peeps! I hope your weekend plans are going smoothly! I have one more Christmas card to share; I got this beautiful little Unity stamp last month (Prince of Peace) and just finally inked it up! I love the Isaiah verse that's highlighted there! I stamped the manger in Soft Suede ink on a piece of thick white cardstock, then used Blends to color in the image:
I also got some blending brushes recently, so I tried my hand with them; I need a little practice, but I do like how they work! I used some So Saffron ink to create a halo effect:
A sentiment from Sweet and Sassy's We Three Kings was stamped in Balmy Blue to match the mat behind the stitched panel. I also used SU's retired Sanded to stamp the card front with Sahara Sand ink and dry embossed it with the Subtle embossing folder as well to give it a rustic feel. My final embellishment was a simple Soft Sky seam binding ribbon. I think I can squeeze this in to the Christmas Kickstart Challenge of The Christmas Story!
Thanks for popping in today!
A little Santa's Workshop shopping and wrapping!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!
LeAnne this is just precious! Love that stamp, and the combination of your ef, and stamped base - looks so good!
