Hi everyone! Woohoo, it's Thursday and time for another beautiful Inspired By challenge! I have had this Papertrey set for, well, let's just say, a long time and have never used it to create anything! After seeing Laurel's challenge photo, I thought it was time to get it inky! So here we go:
And here is her prompt:
Aren't those garlands pretty? I almost went with some felt but opted for standard stamping, LOL! Anyway, the layered images in this set are a wee bit challenging to line up, but after a few tries, I got the hang of it! I stamped the greenery in Mint Macaron and Pool Party, then added Real Red and Cherry Cobbler berries on the larger one and Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay berries on the smaller ones. I used the Subtle embossing folder and Stitched Rectangle die for a little bit of interest, then mounted it on a Pear Pizzazz card front. My final additions were a Pear Pizzazz bow and a couple of white iridescent sequins:
Oops, almost forgot! The sentiment was stamped in Strawberry Slush and I filled in the letters with a blender pen and ink:
I love these colors together--so festive! I hope they inspire you to create something that you can share with us on the Inspired By blog! While you're there, give the designers some love too! They have amazing projects, as usual! Thanks for popping in today!
