Happy Friday, peeps! LOL, that title is a mouthful, isn't it?!! I have a Christmas card today for two challenges that I don't frequent too often...there are just SO many out there, right? I wish I could give all of them some love! Anyway, here are the challenges, Fusion Card and Christmas Kickstart:
I have always loved that little Kickstart snowman, and the Let It Snow Specialty DSP had the perfect colors:
I turned the Fusion sketch on its side to accommodate my pre-sparkled little snowperson (I hope it's okay that I chose a non-fall theme for my card, just used the sketch!), mounting it on a Call Me Clover mat and a stitched Whisper White panel I already had sitting on my desk:
I added a Call Me Clover bow, a vertical panel of the same DSP, the flip side, and a little sentiment from Itty Bitty Christmas to cover up another snowman's head, LOL! I embossed a white mat with the Softly Falling embossing folder, then I mounted it all on a Bermuda Bay card, and added another strip and another IB Christmas sentiment on the inside:
Another Christmas card for my stash! Thanks for popping in today!
Want a watermelon? We had quite a harvest, considering how small our garden is!!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Gorgeous! That paper is my absolute favourite (I think that’s why I haven’t cut into it yet!) and am also hoping to play along with Christmas Kickstart for the first time - the two pair perfectly! As for those watermelons - wowza, what a bumper crop! I’ve been busy cooking and preserving green beans, courgettes, tomatoes and raspberries this week (not all together, obviously!) You can’t beat home grown!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable!!!!!!!!! I love that snowman! The colors are my favorite pairing! Everything about this makes me smile! And so do those watermelons! My Robert LOVES watermelon! XXX
ReplyDeleteOH MY Stars, do I ever LOVE that paper!!! You're so right about it being perfect for the Kickstart challenge, LeAnne! Those folks at Fusion are going to flip over your tipped version of their Sketch!
ReplyDeleteFab u lous!

Great card for Christmas Kickstart, the paper goes beautifully with the header colours and the sparkly snowperson is cute!
ReplyDeleteThe colours of these papers couldn't be better for the Kickstart challenge! Love your cute little snowperson who I feel would get on like a house on fire with the one in the inspiration pic too :) You've got a great watermelon haul there. If we lived nearby, my youngest son would be hovering about near those - he can eat a whole watermelon in one sitting (and no adverse effects!)
ReplyDeleteHi LeAnn, your little snowman (girl?) is adorable and I love how well the image and the colours match our colours. Thanks for playing along, great to have you join the fun, Jo x
ReplyDeleteCUTENESS!! And yes, I want a watermelon...do you deliver!!
ReplyDeleteOh the adorable cuteness
ReplyDeleteYou have captured the essence of the Christmas Kickstart challenge perfectly! I just love the happy face on the snowman. And I love the snowy background too!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! Love that DSP!
