Happy Sunday, peeps! Hope you are having a good weekend so far...today it's Laurie's turn to be our Paper Players hostess, and for her clean-and-simple challenge, she's chosen plants! What a great idea!
I didn't think I had any "plant" stamps, but I did remember this sweet little set from a few years back called Pocket Silhouettes...and I am so happy with the way this turned out! I stamped three images in Call Me Clover and added a sentiment from Picture Perfect Birthday:
Since the CAS on Sunday challenge this week is polka dots, I added a "planter" of Call Me Clover polka dotted DSP, diecut with a Stitched Rectangle die; I like how it mimics the dots in the plant image!
I had this retired stamp set, Sincere Salutations, in the same stamp case as the silhouette, so I went ahead and used it for my inside, stamping another little silhouette down at the bottom. Everything went on a Call Me Clover card base. And since I didn't get my birthday sentiment quite centered, I added a pearl (another polka dot, LOL!) that I colored with a Blend to create a more balanced sentiment!
I love this card, I am going to be hard-pressed to mail it out, LOL! I hope you'll play along with our clean-and-simple challenge! Can't wait to see what you create! Be sure to check out the rules at the Paper Players blog and while you're there, see what the designers created as well! Thanks for popping by today!
Scary girl!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

What a perfectly sweet CAS card LeAnne! I love the monochromatic green and the polka dot influences are everywhere - the whole thing ties together beautifully. Your planter is very clever!
ReplyDeleteSo fresh and pretty, Leanne ... the monochrome green is delcious with all that glorious white! Love how the polka dot planter mimics the shape of the flowers/berries on those tall blooms! Thanks so much for your visit and sweet words! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWell, you know I'm not a CAS kind of girl, but this is at the top of my list to CASE. Don't you love how when we see just a first glimpse of a color, we know what SU color it is? Do you think in SU colors when you are out and about? Could it be an addiction?? Don't answer that, please! Cassidy will have to go a lot farther than that to be scary. Have a wonderful Sunday with your immediate family and your church family. I am going to adult SS, church and then out to lunch with the teacher and her husband. It's been months since we've been together outside of class and church. It'll be a fun day. Plus my son comes home from NC after being there a week with friends. Chester and I are eagerly awaiting his arrival tonight.
ReplyDeleteLeAnne! LOve this gorgeous card - it's a fabulous green, and keeping it monochromatic is the perfect way to make that ADORABLE green dotted DSP star of the show! Why, it's almost as if these darling blooms were borrowed from the paper!
