Happy Sunday, peeps! Laurie has our Paper Players challenge this week, and she has a very trendy color challenge for us! Here we go:
My first instinct was to go for a Valentine's card, but in the back of my mind were those encouragement cards for cancer patients that my club girls and I want to make, so I pulled out Bella and Friends and went to work!
First, I found a sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches, flipping it so that my Bella would be facing inward:
I stamped the images in Memento black and colored them with Smoky Slate blends and Melon Mambo ink; Bella and the balloon were fussy cut and popped up. The sentiment was also stamped in Melon Mambo, and I mounted it on some circular mats. Finally, I layered a couple of DSPs in Basic Gray on top of a Melon Mambo card and it was done! I think this is just such a cute image, I hope it brings cheer to someone who's feeling down!
I hope you'll play along with our challenge this week...there are lots of possibilities for this color palette! Can't wait to see your creation in the gallery! Meanwhile, check out what the DT created:
I have a few photos from our family get-togethers after my dad passed away. For the younger generation, it's all about the PHONES!! My niece Jessie, Cassidy and my great-niece Emma:
And here they are again, this time my other niece Paige is snapping the photo of Jessie, her brother Will, Cassidy, Emma and her sister Lucy! I remember when someone brought out a camera when I was younger, we never wanted our picture taken, LOL! Now they're all hams!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!
