Happy Sunday, peeps! It's time for another Paper Players challenge, and Laurie has a neato color palette for us:
At first glace, I kind of glossed over this Nothing Sweeter set in the holiday catalog, but I saw a few things done with it, especially with the matching framelits, and decided I "needed" it! I made some paper "cookies" using Laurie's colors and laid them out on a baking sheet with an oven mitt and a spatula:
I guess they're pretty big cookies, aren't they?! I stamped them in Poppy Parade and So Saffron, then cut them out with the framelits; the mitt and spatula are from the retired Perfect Mix set, and the baking sheet was cut with a die from Avery Elle:
I stamped the sentiment using the Stamparatus, stamping once in Poppy Parade and then again in Versamark after cleaning off the stamp. Then I heat-embossed it with some clear embossing powder! The cookies are embossing with white embossing powder as well! It all went on a gingham paper "tablecloth" that happened to match the challenge colors as well!
This set it a wee bit time-consuming, but it makes the CUTEST cookies!! I hope you'll play with our challenge this week...check out what the others created:

This is such a great card LeAnne - so many fabulous details, from the cookies to the tray and that fab background. I forgot to say on your later post too how great Cassidy's turkey was - she clearly shares a creative gene or two with her Grammy!
