Happy Thursday, peeps! As you're reading this, we're supposed to be getting SNOW! And sleet! And rain! I know lots of bloggers who have already had some snow this year, but it's a wee bit early for us...but I don't really mind! My card for today's Inspired By challenge is pretty appropriate:
And here's Laurel's prompt:
The jury is still out on whether or not I actually like this card..I love the photo inspiration, but I am not too sure of my execution! I found some snowflake papers from MME's Winterberry line and I paired it with a glimmer paper tree from SU's In The Woods framelits:
I colored some pearls with my blends to make pretty little centers for a few of the snowflakes:
And added a scalloped border, some Tranquil Tide velvet ribbon and a pretty script sentiment:
My sketch comes from CAS Colours and Sketches:
Our church had a chili cook-off on Saturday night....Cassidy wasn't too thrilled about the chili, but she sure tried out a lot of the desserts!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

I think your card is beautiful, LeAnne! Such pretty colors! Love the snowflakes and that gorgeous diecut tree! Well done! TFS and stay warm today! I'm SO not ready for winter weather either!!
ReplyDeleteRemember the days when we used to be able to try out the desserts like that? I don't even care for dessert any more...unless someone puts a brownie or chocolate chip cookie in front of me...lol. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteNo matter how I tried, I couldn't have recreated that gorgeous tree as beautifully as you have, LeAnne! How sparkly, and fun!
ReplyDelete=]
Gorgeous tree! Such a pretty holiday card! And when that snow is done with you it is headed our way.....up to nine inches! And our ground is already covered from two other snowfalls this week.....too early!
