Happy Wednesday, everyone! I confess...as much as I love coffee, I have never played with the Coffee Lovers Cardmakers challenge! I needed a special thank you for a special friend, so this was the perfect time to play! Here's their photo inspiration:
I recently got an adorable Close to My Heart stamp set and couldn't wait to play with some of the images, especially this wee little coffee cup:
My card is notecard-sized; the image was stamped in Sahara Sand and I colored it with SU Blends, stamping the stars with Soft Suede and the other elements with Sahara Sand:
I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso on Creamy Caramel cardstock before embossing it with a polka dot embossing folder, then added a little burlap ribbon and a Mint Macaron heart! Love this color combo! Now this is getting popped in the mail ASAP! And since Addicted to Stamps and More wants us to "make our mark" with markers, I am also entering it there!
Thanks for popping in today!
We had rain all day yesterday, but for a few minutes in the late afternoon, I noticed a HUGE double rainbow out the window! The sky was such an odd color....I ran outside and tried to photograph it but it was just too big...I couldn't get it all in the frame:
However, Dana's friend Kate managed to capture it perfectly - she is an amazing photographer - haloing her barn in the beautiful Chester Country countryside:
Yep.....that's just what it looked like! Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Such a cute card, LeAnne! The colors are so pretty together and that cup is adorable. As usual, your coloring is fantastic. What can I say about those rainbows except wow! Dana's friend got an amazing shot of it!
ReplyDeleteDarling card! Super color combo. I'm a BIG tea drinker, though I love to create and admire coffee cards as well as tea cards.
ReplyDeleteThat is an amazing photo that Dana's friend took--WOW!
I love this dawn! What a great use of that stamp set! And those rainbows.... Wow! Thanks for playing at CLC!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card, LeAnne! Perfect for your friend. And wow, that is some rainbow! I don't think I've ever seen one in a complete arch like that, but then again my neighborhood is too populated by houses!
ReplyDeleteLeAnne I'm so surprised that your sentiment stamping was not even disturbed by that run through your machine to emboss it! Shows the quality of that paper, I think. It's a fabulous challenge - I want those little cookies!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! a FULL DOUBLE rainbow... what a gift!

Love your card, LeAnne! Great choice of colors and I love the embossed background & wonderful sentiment! Great card!! Oh that picture is so pretty! I noticed too that the sky got a really odd color yesterday afternoon but did not see any rainbows. TFS and enjoy the sunshine today! :)

ReplyDeleteAwwww, Love Love your card LeeAnn ,
ReplyDeleteAnd your Rainbow is BEAUITFUL, it reminds me of the last day my Son was with us,
We walked out to go see him and there was a double rainbow right in front of me, for sure I thaught,
That’s god sign that my son was going to be fine .....💔
No 2 hours later he went to God’s house 😢
Just thaught I’d share with you, I’m ok with it ,
Hugs Frenchie 🌹
LeAnne... oh my gosh... the pic of the rainbow over the barn is amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove the cute card LeAnne - but the rainbow steals the show today - Dana's friend's photo is amazing!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are so beautiful. I visit your blog frequently. (I love seeing your cards.) I also live in PA & the sky was an odd color here yesterday too. It was rainy here most of the day too. I personally didn't get to see the rainbow, but I know several people who did. I actually live in a small town near Easton, Allentown, Bethlehem. I'n not far from the Poconos. I don't know if you've ever heard of Wind Gap or Pen Argyl. :)
ReplyDeleteThe kraft and aqua, the polka dots, that sweet little cup, love it all LeAnne! What a gorgeous gift from God that double rainbow is ~ WOW!
ReplyDeleteLove love love! Your layout is fantastic... and so is that rainbow!
ReplyDeleteHugs.
