AYSI190 Making Spirits Bright

Happy Friday, everyone!  It's time for another As You See It challenge, and we've got a sketch for you...a wreath, and I love wreaths!  Here we go:

No automatic alt text available.

My sweet friend Linda lent me her new sets, Making Christmas Bright and Making Every Day Bright, along with the matching punch, so I thought I would put them to use making a bright, retro-colored Christmas card:

I used the Swirly Scribbles die to cut out a foil wreath, then created light bulbs in Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo and Coastal Cabana.  If you look closely, you can see that I strung some silver thread around the bulbs to create the "cord"!!!

My greenery is Lemon Lime Twist, and I embossed the background with the Softly Falling embossing folder.  My final touches are a glimmery bow, and although you can't see it, each bulb is winked with some Stella!

I hope  you'll play along with our pretty sketch this week...be sure to check out what the other designers created as well!  Can't wait to see you at As You See It!

What a spoiled dog!
