CAS Colors & Sketches 278 Fabulous You

Happy Tuesday, peeps!  This is my last week as guest designer for CAS Colours and Sketches, and we have a lovely sketch for you:

I haven't used this new In Color, Call Me Clover, yet, so I thought this would be a good occasion to remedy that!  I used it with Granny Apple Green, another bright new color, along with Picture Perfect Birthday:

One fun element is the line of piercing above my In Color DSP layer; it's from the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlets, and it is so fun!  I like how it mimics the polka dots in the DSP!  I added a bow and a noise-maker and popped them up on dimensionals:

I love this simple little sketch and I hope you'll play along with it....it's open to so many possibilities!  And check out all the submissions, as well as the DT creations, at the CAS Colours & Sketches blog!

A little sprinkler action:

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

  2. I LOve these new greens, LeAnne - AND that dotty darling dp! AND that dotty die - how is that called Swirly Snowflakes … hmmm?

ahhhh the sprinklers - tell Cassidy I used to go to the high school near by to run through their 'industrial sized' sprinklers! A fun way to cool off, indeed!

  4. Love the simplicity of your card. I saw the holes and thought, "I have to get that tool!" Then when I read where it was from, I laughed at myself because I have those dies and didn't realize there was something like that in them...lol. Sprinklers are so fun when you're that age...hoses too!

  10. That vertically-oriented sentiment works so well with the sketch, and I like how you've adorned it with the bow and noisemaker. The row of dots is a perfect accent! You've been an awesome guest designer for us at CC&S! I hope you'll continue to join in our future challenges. :)
