Happy Wednesday, everyone! I've got a bright springy card for you today, using my much-neglected Swirly Bird set, a sketch from TGIF Challenges, and the colors from CAS Colours and Sketches!
Aren't these colors pretty? They were fun to use...the sketch was a bit more of a challenge! Here we go:
I stamped the circles, swirls and flowers in each of the challenge colors, stamping off first so I got a lighter image, then punching them with the 1 1/4" circle punch. I stamped the speckles on the background in Flirty Flamingo and added a sentiment from Picture Perfect Birthday, matted with a piece of Flirty Flamingo as well:
On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from the Picture Perfect set as well as a few more speckles!
I added some retired Pool Party DSP and thick baker's twine to finish it off! Thanks for popping in today!
Goofy girl, eating dinner in her pjs:
Her pajamas have a hood with a Santa hat...it's still cold so she's still wearing them!! Enjoy your day and be blessed!

What a lovely fresh card LeAnne - great use of the swirly bird set too! I was intrigued by this sketch too - had an idea, just need to squeeze in some time to play along! Probably not today though - the sun is shining so I’m hoping to get outside and do some external spring cleaning! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteThis card is so pretty in these colors, LeAnne! It sure has a springy feel to it which I think is the only way we are going to have spring weather. Yesterday was downright cold so I can understand why Cassidy was wearing winter PJ's! Love that you used Swirly Bird on this card....it's a fabulous stamp set one that hasn't seen ink in my stamp room in ages! Love the design too! TFS and enjoy the sunshine today! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a fun card and a great way to use those challenge colors! I love that sentiment! The Santa head is good for cueing a smile! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is just fabulous! Wonderful use of this week's colors. Thanks for playing along with us at CC&S.
ReplyDeleteOh this is cheerful! Penelope was playing with her toy ice ream cones today day, this reminds me of them. So cute Leanne!
ReplyDeleteSuch a bright happy card.....and your picture made me LOL!
ReplyDeleteBetween the swirls, the splatters, and the tilted background panel, this card nails the vibe of celebratory fun! You've done a great job combining the challenges. Thanks so much for making CC&S one of them! :)
ReplyDeleteLove this fun, fresh and quirky card. The mix of offset panels, swirly circles and splatters is FAB. Thanks so much for sharing this delight and joining in at CC&S. Hugs Bev x
