FF135 and IM346 Baby Shower Cards

Hi peeps!  I got in some stamping time yesterday; a customer asked me for a baby shower card in mint green and gray.  I scoured my favorite blogs and came up with a couple of sketches, and went to work!  The first one uses the sketch from Fab Friday (and I realize I forgot the bow!!!):

and a set called Little Cuties....I got this last year and never used it!!  I stamped the hobby horse in Memento Black, colored it with markers and blends, and paired it with some Close to My Heart papers:

The only shower stamp I have is from Teeny Tiny Wishes....I stamped it in Basic Gray, diecut and layered it and adhered it to the inside:

To give my customer a choice, I made another one; not quite mint green, but I thought these papers from Studio Calico were really cute!  I used the sketch from In(k)spire Me:

I used a couple of retired SU sets:  Nursery Necessities and A to Z:

I just love that elephant's little tail!!  A few layers and some Soft Sky twine were the embellishments, and I used the same sentiment on the inside!

Thanks for popping in today!  Be sure to come back tomorrow for our next Paper Players challenge!

  1. Love these LeAnne! So soft in your chosen colours. The first one is my favourite - it reminds me of the rocking horse that was at my nursery school when I was little, so many hours of fun had!

  2. Your cards are sweet. Sorry to see Teeny Tiny Wishes going away. I do find it difficult to stamp with them though as they kind of roll for me. It's good to know there are others that are coming out.

  3. Looks like you got your Mojo back LeAnne....Love them both...you fussy cut so well leaving the little white...border...I can seem to get it straight when trying to leave a little white...she will have a hard time choosing between the two...

  4. Super cute baby cards, LeAnne! I love both the hobby horse and the elephant, and the layout for both, too. Can't believe Teeny Tiny Wishes is finally retiring, but it's one of those sets that I will hold on to forever! Looking forward to seeing its replacement, too :)

  8. These are really adorable. I've got three great-nephews on the way this year (or are they nephews and I'm a great-aunt)?!?! I'm constantly looking for baby card ideas so these are getting pinned right away!
