Hey peeps! It's Thursday....almost the end of the week, although my busy-ness keeps going all weekend long, LOL! Laurel has a beautiful Inspired By challenge prompt this week! It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do....there are more elements that I would have liked to incorporate, but for now, this is what I came up with:
And here is her inspiration:
I had an almost-empty 6x6 pad of designer paper by My Mind's Eye called Sunshine and it happened to have this soft, pretty gingham page still in it...I must have been "saving" it for an occasion such as this! I die-cut a pretty little frame, added a sweet little bunny from Close to My Heart:
and some florals from Altenew, along with a couple of little banners from the same paper pack and a few sequins:
The sentiment is from the same CTMH set; I also stamped a few very dainty florals directly on to the gingham paper with a little W+9 floral; you can just see them within the frame:
There are so many directions in which you could go with this photo challenge...I hope you're inspired to create something spring-like and share it at IB with us! We'd love to see what you create!
Just a girl and her dog!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Such a pretty card, LeAnne! Love the soft colors and that bunny just makes this perfect for this time of year! Great picture of the girl & her dog! So sweet and friends for life! TFS and have a great day! :)
ReplyDeleteWow this is so pretty and full of sweet details to enjoy! Love the frame, the gingham, the bunny, the flowers.....and that big ol' dog snoozing with Miss C!
ReplyDeleteYou had me with the gingham! All those other elements look adorable on it. I love the frame and how you have the corners featured! Such a lovely card!
ReplyDeleteYour card is fantastic. The layout is perfect as are all the elements you put together...that bunny...ooh, I could just hug him! An almost empty pack of 6 x 6 patterned paper...what is that? I joined Kylie Bertucci's "love it chop it" group in hopes that I can cut up my almost full stacks of 6 x 6 and 12 x 12. I buy a pack for one sheet that I've seen...lol. You are a blessing, as is Cassidy (and Eden).
ReplyDeleteLeAnne that gingham paper is as sweet as it can be ... a favorite pattern, for sure! But stamping it with those sweet little leaves was such a great idea... and that ink matched so perfectly! I'm going to TRY to remember this idea... and OH that bunny!
ReplyDeletea wonderful card, my friend!
