Hello, everyone! It's time for a new As You See It challenge....it was fun seeing what everyone's first stamp or tool was! This week it's a new sketch and I put to use some new products that I got recently for a fun little Christmas card! So here's the sketch:
And here's my card:
I got a fun little bundle of Simple Stories' Winter Wonderland from Peachy Cheap...there was a 6x6 pad, washi tape, stickers and LOTS of embellishments....more than I will be able to use in a long time! They're all so CUTE! So I put some of them to work on my card:
The washi tape is the vertical element; I diecut the square and circle from some of the papers; the snowman, snowflakes, and bottom sentiment are all stickers. The "Merry Christmas" was a blank sticker and I stamped a sentiment from Our Daily Bread on it, and I stamped some random snowflakes in Soft Sky ink on the Rustic White cardbase too!
Here's the inside, using the retired Stitched With Cheer set:
This was so fun to make, especially with a sketch that has lots of elements to interpret! I hope that you'll play along with us! You've got two weeks to play, so plenty of time! Check out the other designers as well, you can see them at As You See It!
We had such nice weather on Wednesday, we played some velcro ball outside! We were practicing really HIGH tosses! The rest of the week.....cold and rainy! Back to February reality!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

ReplyDeleteLeAnne, you always make the cutest cards! Love this one with the fabulous washi tapes and adorable snowmen! Very sweet Christmas card indeed! Yes, Tuesday & Wednesday were gorgeous! Wednesday it got to 80 here and I had to dig out a fan for the doggies as they were hot & panting away! Not ready for that type of weather but something in the 70's is fine by me!
ReplyDeletethat card is so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThe card is super cute LeAnne- you are so great at mixing seemingly random elements perfectly! Love the sketch so will definitely try and play along. And what is with the weather? You are having it all!
ReplyDeleteOh, so cute and you're so smart to get ahead on Christmas cards! Love how you used all those cute elements and that snowman sticker is adorable. I thought it was a stamp! We're supposed be in the upper 70's again today and leaves are popping out on everything! You know we will have a freeze and everything will be ruined! :(
