Happy Sunday, peeps! I hope you're having a great weekend so far! Sandy is our Paper Players hostess this week with a warm and cozy clean and simple challenge:
Oh, I had so many ideas in my head for this one, but my time was extremely limited this weekend so it was a good thing it was a clean and simple challenge! I have had these mitten dies forever and I pulled out some scraps of plaid DSP from Carta Bella and made three wee little mittens:
I "hung" them on some Cherry Cobbler thick baker's twine, and mounted them on a panel embossed with a Tim Holtz EF; I liked the debossed side, so that's what I used!
I used the buffalo plaid paper to make a little banner with my new Concord and 9th dies, then added a sentiment from MFT's Hand Lettered Holiday:
And I used the same set for the inside sentiment, and I hung another little set of mittens from the tail of the sentiment...so cute!
I hope you'll play along with our clean and simple challenge this week...can't wait to see your cozy creations! Be sure to check out what the DT has created as well...you can see them all at the Paper Players!
My sister has been visiting for a few days from South Carolina, and we have been having a great time! In the midst of that, we finally moved back into the kitchen and as of yesterday, all appliances are in and working! What a blessing to have a dishwasher! I don't have pix yet, as I've not "decorated" or gotten my trestle table in, but I promise I'll share soon. Meanwhile, Gail and I went shopping at Goodwill, went to Longwood, and we all played with her dog, Daisy!
You may recall seeing Daisy dressed in her raincoat during the hurricane in September:
While at Goodwill, Gail found this "warm and cozy"little outfit:
Enjoy your day and be blessed!
