Happy Monday, peeps! I hope you had a good weekend....I know I did! I have two stamp classes today so this will be short and sweet.....this is such a silly little card, I almost didn't post it, but I liked the Match the Sketch sketch this week (love my "threes"!!):
and I wanted to make a quick card as a sample for my class, highlighting the new Spooky Cat set which will be in the upcoming Holiday Catalog. What a FUN set....I'll have more samples using it real soon! So for my card today, I stamped two owls in Smoky Slate and one in Crumb Cake, then added the overlays in Soft Suede and Crushed Curry:
I added a tree limb from the Seasonal Layers Thinlets, a moon I punched from Crushed Curry cardstock and I stamped a few lines from the same set....that's what I wish I had left alone, but the Basic Gray mat looked a little plain. Anyway, I love how the sentiment and eye rings fit right on top of the owl's body:
I mounted it on a Crushed Curry card base and stamped a simple "Trick or Treat" on the inside! I know I'll be using this set a lot this fall! Thanks for popping in today! Be sure to come back tomorrow for our next Stamp Ink Paper challenge too!
