FF118 Christmas Quilt

Happy Wednesday, peeps!  A quick card today for the Fab Friday color challenge:

I just received the Christmas Quilt set from the upcoming Holiday mini catalog, and was thinking how it wasn't just for Christmas! It has so many fun elements that can be used for all types of occasions!  Although lining up the panels of quilt are a little tricky, even with a Stamp-a-ma-jig, I think it still has lots of possibilities:

I remembered that I had some polka-dotted Melon Mambo DSP left from a couple of years ago, so it was the mat for my 4 1/4" card; I added a layer of Lemon Lime Twist that was stamped with the little blanket stitch stamp, then a scalloped layer of Melon Mambo and the quilt panel itself.  I stamped the outline of the quilt in Smoky Slate.  A little sentiment from Sprinkles of Life, embellished with two of the floral images from the set (and a candy dot!) finished it off!  It is a pretty, bright color combo, which is what we needed yesterday!

And here's another little bright spot in our rainy day yesterday!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!
