The Gift of Easter

Happy Thursday, peeps!  Feelin' not so spiffy this week, so luckily I had some cards already made up to share....just haven't felt like stamping too much!  I need several more Easter cards, so I thought I would use the soon-retiring Mint Macaron and some By the Shore DSP to create this one:

The florals are from Basket Bunch; sentiment is from Suite Sentiments, and there is a little bit of the lacy image from Touches of Textures on the card base!  And here are a couple more projects from my Saturday stamp camp!  The little Easter basket was inspired by a post I saw here by Twila; it was so cute, I just had to make one of my own!  And the little peat pot was one I came up with on my own:

Only one more day until Friday, yay!!  Cassidy has off next week, so I am not sure how much stamping I'll get done then, either!  Meanwhile, I have to show you some of her chalk artwork she did as we were waiting for the bus.  Grampy and I were supposed to guess what this picture was:

We guessed the earth (we were close), but she wrote the description under it after we could not guess the correct answer:  "Hill Rite There" with an arrow pointing to the left.  OH, now we see it:

As we look to the left of our driveway, yep, there's a hill with the woods in the background!  Seems pretty obvious, right?!  LOL!  Enjoy your day and be blessed!

  2. Such a pretty Easter card, LeAnne! Love the pops of color against the Mint Macaron card base! Your Easter basket treats were so cute as well....love the peat pot idea! Miss Cassidy's artwork looked pretty spot on especially after showing the hill and woods off from your driveway! She's a pretty good drawer! Hope you get to feeling better! I have been feeling pretty crappy too since Saturday. My hubby graciously shared his cold. Can't smell, taste or breathe and on top of that, my nose is as red as Rudolph's!

  3. Sorry you are not feeling up to par...get better quickly. As soon as I saw Cassidy's work of art, I knew exactly what she was doing. How did I know that??? Very pretty card. I didn't get that DSP. I've got myself on a short leash at the moment! I might be in trouble April 10th!

  4. Sorry you're not feeling well, sending get well wishes your way! I like the pretty little spring card and those adorable baskets! Cassidy's chalk drawing is pretty good! I like that she made the trees different heights like they are on the actual hill!! I couldn't help noticing a small bright green spot on the bottom right corner of the hill (the real one). Looks like an Easter egg!!
