SIP95 Sympathy Cards

Happy Tuesday, peeps!  Time for another Stamp Ink Paper challenge, and we've got a fun sketch for you:
No automatic alt text available.
I had a wee little hiccup with this sketch...it's hard for me to put something askew, but I made the card very CAS so hopefully it doesn't look too bad!  I was sad to hear that Flower Patch was retiring, so I made sure to use it, along with its matching die, with some other retiring products:  the Affectionately Yours Specialty DSP:

So you really can't get much simpler than this....a diecut flower, some leaves, a stitched circle and a sentiment!

And since I needed two sympathy cards this week for the same family, I did another one, this time using Moroccan DSP and Vintage Leaves:

I seem to be on an assembly-line roll this week!  Last week with Cassidy got me a little behind in my card-making, I guess!

So here we are all on Easter, with windy storm clouds as a back-drop, which is a shame, because earlier in the day, it was beautiful!  And the wind really did a number on my hair....the guys have nothing to worry about in that department, LOL!

Thanks for visiting and have a blessed day!

  1. Sweet sympathy cards, LeAnne. I love the DSPs you chose. The stamps are perfect are each of them. I love this layout too! Nice family picture of all of you!

  2. That's a coincidence...I used that DSP last night for the Mystery Stamp-a-long and posted in on SIP this morning :-) Your face is so pretty that it doesn't matter what your hair looks like!

  3. Sorry you had the need for sympathy cards, but these sure are pretty. Your family Easter photo is too!

  4. Beautiful cards, LeAnne! The patterned paper you chose is uplifting and will bring comfort along with the thought and card.

Great family photo! The leggings are so spring-y and the flip-flops are so summery! :) I have been looking for fun patterned leggings that I can wear out and about (other than my Athleta workout leggings) and haven't had much luck (and I don't understand how the LulaRoe thing works).
